On July 21, 2023, Shoryu Cave, a designated cultural property and treasure of Okinoerabu Island, celebrated its 60th anniversary.

Shoryudo is a limestone cave that was discovered in 1960 by the Ehime University Academic Exploration Department (headed by Professor Hiroshi Yamauchi), and today it is one of Japan's largest limestone caves, with a total length of 3,500 meters and several connected limestone caves.

Elementary and junior high school students: 550 yen
Children aged 4 and 5: 220 yen

(General group of 15 people or more)

Adults/high school students: 900 yen
Elementary and junior high school students: 450 yen
